If you don’t already have one I’d recommend a plastic one with both handles and wheels, you’d be surprised at how heavy some of these fish can get and it’ll surprise you how much they’ll wear you out reeling them in! I’d also recommend you get a cooler with a plug on the side to allow the ice water to melt out as you get ready to cook or store your fish for the day.
Your second ice chest will be used for storing whatever drinks, snacks, or anything else you wish to bring on the trip for you cold.
